This Privacy Policy details the manner in which Gueek Ltd collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each a 'User') of the dropcatching.co.uk SaaS application/website ('Site').

1. Definitions

For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, the terms within this policy shall have the meanings defined below.

1.1 "Users" means any individual accessing the dropcatching.co.uk website or SaaS application.

1.2 "Applications" means the dropcatching.co.uk website, SaaS application, and any code required to run the SaaS application.

1.3 "Controller" means Gueek Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with registration number 13246799.

1.4 "PII" stands for Personally Identifiable Information, which means any data that can be used to identify a specific individual.

1.5 "GDPR" stands for General Data Protection Regulation, which is a regulation that requires businesses to protect PII and privacy of EU Users.

2. Personally Identifiable Information

The Controller may collect PII from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit or use our Applications or enter information in to them (e.g. submitting a contact form or registering for an account). Users may be asked for PII such as name, email address, postal address and telephone number. Users can refuse to enter PII, however it may prevent them from engaging with Applications.

3. Non-personally Identifiable Information

The Controller may collect non-PII about Users whenever they interact with our Applications. Examples of non-PII that the Controller collects include, but not limited to, internet protocol ('IP') address, operating system, web browser and technical information about the Users connection to our Applications.

4. Cookies

Cookies are used in our Applications and help to remember information about your visit. Cookies will be placed on the Users device automatically. If a User wishes to refuse Cookies, they may set their browser to refuse them from our Applications, however in doing so may make some parts of our Applications not function properly.

5. Collected Information

Gueek Ltd may collect and use Users personal information for the following purposes:

  • To investigate and respond to support requests:
    Information you provide will help respond to your support requests efficiently and effectively.
  • To improve our Applications:
    Feedback provided will be used to improve our Applications for all Users.
  • To inform you of actions our Applications take:
    Such as notifications sent when a domain is deleted by Nominet, informing you if it was caught, renewed or missed, as well as service information, news, updates and maintenance periods.

6. Protecting Information

We use appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorised access of your personal information.

Users login passwords are hashed before storing and cannot be reverse hashed. Nominet EPP passwords are encrypted and can be decrypted by our Applications for the purposes of logging in to EPP.

7. Sharing Information

Gueek Ltd does not sell or exchange Users PII.

We may share the following information with third parties for the purposes outlined:

  • Email address:
    Your email address is sent through Amazon Web Services for the purpose of sending you emails.
  • Card details:
    Your card details are encrypted and sent directly to our payment processor ("Stripe, Inc.") who only provide us with a unique token for the purposes of charging your card.
  • Nominet tag and password:
    Your Nominet tag and password are sent to Nominet when you use our Application, for the purposes of registering and managing domain names on your tag.

We use non-PII for aggregating website analytics. No User can be identified with non-PII information.

8. Changes to this Privacy Policy

Gueek Ltd may update this privacy policy at any time and without notice. When this happens, section 11 will be updated, reflecting the date the changes were made. Users are encouraged to frequently check this page for updates. Users acknowledge that it is their responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become self aware of any modifications.

9. Acceptance

By using our Applications, you signify your acceptance to this privacy policy. If you do not agree to this policy, you must cease using our Applications immediately. Your continued use of our Applications following the changes to this policy deems your acceptance of those changes.
